Description:
First Responders from the rural north of scotland. First Responders are members of the public who are trained by the ambulance service with life saving skills, and carry various equipment including a defibrillator and oxygen. Their role is to arrive on scene quickly and provide medical assistance until the ambulance arrives. First Responders are volunteers, are unpaid and give up their own time, to train, be on call, and attend emergencies. Countless lives in the UK have been saved thanks to the First Responder schemes
