The accompanying rare Chant in Sanskrit is "Sri Venkateswara Gadyam" and rendered by Sri P V Ananthasayanam Iyengar (A very rare original TTD recording). The Gadyam extols the virtues of Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala. The Gadyam mentions all the 72 Melakarta Raagas in Carnatic Music.

Venkateshwara (Telugu: వెంకటేశ్వరుడు, వెంకన్న, Hindi: वेंकटेश्वर) also known as Venkatachalapathy(Tamil: வெங்கடசலபதி), Srinivasa and Balaji is a form of the Hindu god Vishnu in Hindu mythology. Venkateshwara means the Lord who destroys the sins of the people. According to the Hindu scriptures,Vishnu, out of love towards his devotees, incarnated as Venkateshwara and appeared for the salvation and upliftment of humanity in this Kali Yuga and is considered the supreme form of Vishnu in this age.
